MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of The School at Narrow Bridges is to further the crafts of Turning and Furniture Building
through education of the highest standard.

We have made a decision to keep classes smaller than any other school so that students receive
maximum “hands-on” time with our world class instructors.  We are convinced that this is the best way
to achieve the greatest amount of skill building in the shortest amount of time.  We have four staff
instructors:  Rodney Milen, Scott Tinker and Larry Parham, furniture builders; Wayne Loveless, turner.
Our faculty-at-large includes many of the most recognized and respected artists and craftsmen working
today.

Our classes are typically limited to between four and six students.  The classrooms at The School at
Narrow Bridges feature the most recognized names in the industry, including Powermatic, Delta,  and
Lie-Nielsen.  We have a dedicated turning room, bench room, and machine room.

Our classes are for a variety of skill levels, from beginner to very advanced wood worker.
